Bell Ringing at St Wilfrid's

There are six bells in St. Wilfrid's belfry, which date back to Dalton of York in 1704.

When possible, we ring the bells on Sunday mornings before our 9:30am service. We are also available for special occasions such as weddings.

New Bell Ringers Wanted

We are always looking for new bell ringers to allow us to ring the bells every Sunday. You do not need to have any experience, as we will train you, and you can be of any age. Ringing Practice is on Wednesday nights 7.30 – 9.00 pm.
