Burnsall
Parish Church sits on the banks of the River Wharfe, north of Bolton Abbey
and not far from the market town of Skipton. There are two main places of
worship in the parish - St Wilfrid's in Burnsall
and St John's in Appletreewick. Also lying within
the parish boundaries is Parcevall
Hall - the retreat house of the Diocese
of Bradford. St Wilfrid's serves the villages of Burnsall, Appletreewick,
Thorpe, Skyreholme and Hartlington.
Burnsall parish is also linked with St Peter's Church in Rylstone, and clustered with St Michael and All Angel's Church in Linton and St Peter's in Hebden.
The Revd David Macha is Rector of Linton and Priest in Charge of the Parish of Burnsall with Rylstone. David is married to Elaine and they have three children, Sam, Jess and Jonny. The Macha family spent six years in Northern Tanzania before coming to the Yorkshire Dales.

Fiona Jenkins is the Resident Priest in Burnsall, and is the
main point of contact for both St Wilfrid's and St John's. Fiona is married
to Stan, and they have two grown up children - Vicky and Phil.
Fiona is also Chaplain to Upper Wharfedale, which means she spends one Sunday a month supporting the churches in Kettlewell, Hubberholme, Arncliffe and Conistone.
The Upper Wharfedale churches (ecumenical) also employ two part time Youth Workers -Suzy Rowe and Jason Mains.
St Wilfrid's Church is located at the northern end of the village, alongside the B6160. Parking is normally available on the roadside, except during the high tourist season, when there will usually be space in one of the car parks in the village. The church is open every day during daylight hours.
